BGCI’s International Congresses on Education in Botanic Gardens

BGCI runs a congress focusing on education in botanic gardens every 3 years. These meetings enable educators from sites around world to share their experiences, inspiration and ideas. Papers from the congresses explore different aspects of education in botanic gardens, from theory to practice and include case studies of a huge variety of education programmes. You can download the proceedings, or order a hard copy from us using the publication request form.

Latest Education Congress: Proceedings Online

The most recent congress, ‘The Nature of Success: Success for Nature’, BGCI’s 6th International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens, was help in September 2006 at University of Oxford Botanic Garden. The congress proceedings, report, evaluation, photo and delegate list are all available online.
