European Plant Conservation Strategy

This strategy was developed in response to the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation for the European region.

National Frameworks

National policies for plant conservation in botanic gardens are developed by the national networks often in collaboration with the national biodiversity strategies, plans or programmes. Please refer to the botanic garden networks for national strategies. A few examples from BGCI publications are given below.
