Our work > RBG, Edinburgh and Universidad Austral de Chile
RBG, Edinburgh and Universidad Austral de ChileCollaboration has taken place between the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh (UK), the Universidad Austral de Chile, the Instituto de Investigacions Agropecuarias (Chile) and Liss Forest Nurseries (UK) to trial several Chilean plants for commercialisation. The first commercial release may be within 2-3 years, and a Chilean-administered fund will eventually be set up to support small-scale conservation projects in Chile. This project is funded by the UK Darwin Initiative. For more information see: http://www.bgci.org/files/Wuhan/PapersSustainable/RaeSustainability.pdf |
