Our next Global Botanic Gardens Congress will be held in 2010 and will be hosted by the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin, Dublin, Ireland. A total 202 oral and 145 poster presentations were given during the week in Wuhan, China and these are now available to all online along with pictures and other records of the meeting. Read more... Find Out More 6th Education Congress: Proceedings Now Available BGCI’s 6th International Congress on Education in Botanic Gardens in September has been billed as "the best ever". This unique gathering of the leading figures in botanic garden education inspired, motivated and brought people together. The Proceedings are now online - follow the link above. The 2nd World Botanic Gardens Congress Held in Barcelona in 2004, this Congress reviewed the implementation of the International Agenda for Botanic Gardens in Conservation and also helped quantify the contributions of botanic gardens to the achievement of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation.
